Were you aware that you could use merge tags in your messages beyond text blasts and coupon blasts? In case you're not familiar with merge tags, they let you personalize your message. Think about sending your contacts a message that was personalized with their first name. You could use the merge tag %FNAME% and compose a message such as "Hello %FNAME%, we have an awesome offer." If the contact's first name exists in the system and if it were "Frank," then the message would deliver as "Hello Frank, we have an awesome offer."
