Scan QR code to opt into a list?

One of the questions we often get asked is, "Can somebody join a list by scanning a QR code?" Technically, yes. When using the QR feature, select the QR type as "SMS Message." In the phone number field, select the number you'd like users to text, for example, the 71441 short code. In the message field, type the keyword associated with the list you'd like people to join and click "Generate." The next time somebody scans the QR code, their mobile device will give the option to text the keyword to the 71441 short code. From there, the user will need to press the send button to be opted-in.
