URL shortener alert only for toll-free and landline numbers
Carriers are blocking messages from popular URL shorteners such as tinyurl.com, bit.ly, owl.y, goo.gl, and buff.ly among others when using them with toll-free and landline numbers because spammers are abusing them to send malicious content. The block isn't affecting shortcodes.
We created our Tracking URL solution to help you use your own domain to create shortened tracking URLs. When using your own domain your shortened links won't become associated with spam unless you are using them to send content that isn't allowed. Have a great week!
