Why should you have resellers?
Think of a reseller as your franchise. A reseller is someone who redistributes your product to their client base. In doing this, your reseller will pay you a monthly licensing fee to use your white label and you will share in the profits from the clients he or she brings in.
Having a reseller helps you to increase your products profits, expand your business further and get your product out to more customers much faster. Your reseller will get all of the features (or products) that are made available by you, the original owner. They can call the product whatever they want, but have to sell what they have bought from you. A reseller can take your brand and make it their own, or leave it as is. They can make customizations to the brand or the URL, which in turn can further enhance your business.
For example, Dunkin' Donuts can hire you to sell their product for them. You can go out and sell their donuts under a different name, such as Bob’s Donuts, but deep down it will always be Dunkin' Donuts.
