If you're having issues downloading the kiosk app, please keep in mind these troubleshooting tips below.
- Check that you've allowed the tablet to download apps from unknown sources
- Look for the kiosk app file under your Google Chrome downloads
- Look for the kiosk app file under the Downloads app
- Look for the kiosk app file under the notification toolbar
- Check that the app has been downloaded into the tablet
- What to do when the download button on the website doesn't work
- Check that your Android tablet is compatible with the app
- If everything else fails, reset the tablet to factory settings and try again
1. Check that you've allowed the tablet to download apps from unknown sources
- You must allow the tablet to download apps from unknown sources in order to use the kiosk app. Start by going to the tablet settings and select "Security":
- Make sure that you turn on the option to allow installations of apps from unknown sources:
- Download the app or if you have downloaded the app, open it to install it.
2. Look for the kiosk app file under your Google Chrome downloads
- If you downloaded the app from Google Chrome, click on the three dots on the top right-hand corner:
- You will then see a list of options, please click on "Downloads":
- You will be presented with your recent downloads including the kiosk app, please tap on the downloaded file:
- You will be presented with the option to download the app, please tap on "Install":
3. Look for the kiosk app file under the Downloads app
- In the home screen, tap on the apps drawer:
- Tap on "Downloads":
- Tap on the latest file listed which should be the kiosk app file:
- You will be presented with the option to download the app, please tap on "Install":
4. Look for the kiosk app file under the notification toolbar
- To access the notification bar, do a pull-down gesture from the top of the screen:
- You will see a list of notifications including your latest downloads. The kiosk app file should show in the list. Tap on the kiosk app file:
- You will be presented with the option to download the app, please tap on "Install":
5. Check that the app has been downloaded into the tablet
- You can check if the app has been downloaded by going to the tablet settings and going to "Apps":
- The apps are normally organized by alphabetical order, check if our app called "Kiosk" is shown:
6. What to do when the download button on the website doesn't work
- If you're in http://www.limecellular.com/app/ and tapping the "Click to download our Android App" button but it isn't working when you're trying to download the app, softly press on the button for about 2 to 3 seconds. This will show you different options.
- Tap on "Download link":
- This will download the app. You will then see the option to open the app at the bottom of the screen to install it:
7. Check that your Android tablet is compatible with the app
There are two versions of the app. The first is for devices running Android 6.0.1 or above and the second for devices running Android 5.0.1 or below. If you download the wrong version you will get an invalid license key message when trying to enter a license key or you may also get a parse error message when trying to use the app. You will find the two versions available at http://www.limecellular.com/app/
You can check which Android version your tablet is running by checking the packaging of the tablet or by going to the tablet settings and tapping on "About Tablet" or a similar option.

8. Note: If everything else fails, reset the tablet to factory settings and try again downloading the app again.
