Many may wonder what the difference is between a sales agent and a reseller in the realm of white label marketing. Here is a quick answer to that very question.
Sales Agents can create and manage advertisers and also create and sign up pages to recruit new advertisers. They can change the profile info for each advertiser, access each advertiser’s dashboard via the support mechanism. All other fields are optional. The administrator can assign Sales Agents to a particular group for organizational purposes. Once you create an account, it will be available to use. You can edit your sales agents under the “manage” column, where it says “Sales Agents”. Click “Show All” to see your list of sales agents, as well as go into their profile. As a reseller would take your product and help to sell it under their own brand, a sales agent will manage and work for you. Sales Agents are great to help keep up and manage the accounts of your advertisers.
Resellers can create and manage advertisers and sign up pages. They also have access to the White Label Resource Center, QR Code wizard on their dashboard, and the reporting tools. Resellers can also assign Advertisers to them, view scheduled tasks, opt-in lists, coupons etc. A reseller can also view the available packages and bills that you, the administrator, have created. You can enable resellers to be prepaid, create and manage their sales agents, and upload their own banners to their profile and brand their platform as theirs. You can charge resellers a package fee and/or set a percentage of gross revenue share that you charge for using the service.
For Resellers and Sales Agents, you have the option to generate an API ID. APIs allow you to communicate from your server to ours. An API will allow you to remotely perform actions with Lime’s platform without directly accessing it. Some of our APIs include: send a poll, create an advertiser, a login box and a one way SMS API.
