Our text buzzer feature is designed for restaurants and similar businesses who'd like to text their customers when their table is ready to be seated.
Configuring Your Text Buzzer
- On the advertiser dashboard, select "Text Buzzer":
- On the Text Buzzer screen, select "Configurations":
- Select the Opt-In list on which people will be opted-in.
Note: Customers will receive a "Reply Yes" message to opt-in and receive messages however customers don't have to opt-in to receive the "table ready" message. - Type your "table ready" message:
- Click "Save."
Creating a Text Buzzer
- On the Text Buzzer screen, select "Create New":
- Enter your customer's information:
- Click "Save."
- The customer will receive a "Reply Yes" message to opt-in.
Note: Customers don't have to opt-in to receive the "table ready" message.
Sending a "Table Ready" Message
- Once your text buzzer is created, you will see it listed with its details:
- Click "Table Ready" button to notify the customer that the table is ready to be seated. The customer will receive your previously created "table ready" message under your configurations.
- If the customers opt-ins or is already on the list, you will see a checkmark under the Opted-in column. If the customer hasn't opted-in, you will see an "x." Customers don't have to opt-in to receive the "table ready" message.:
Other Options
- Once your "table ready" message is sent, the "Table Ready" button will change to "Seated." Click "Seated" to clear the text buzzer.
- Click "Clear All" to click all your text buzzers created.
- Click "Walk Away" if the customer cancels their table. This will clear the text buzzer.
- Click the "Edit" button to modify the information in your text buzzer.
- Click the "Delete" button to remove your text buzzer created.
