One of our best features is the option to create and customize your own loyalty program. You can set up your loyalty program based on visits or purchases made by a customer. Please follow the steps below to learn how.
- From the advertiser dashboard, click on the Loyalty Program feature:
- On the next screen, click on "Create New":
- You are now in the Loyalty Program Wizard. This is where you'll set up all the details of your loyalty program, starting with the "Create New" step. In this step you will need to enter the following information:
- Program name: The name of your loyalty program that will be shown in the system
- Select an opt-in list(s) to connect to the loyalty program: Every loyalty program is connected to an opt-in list(s) in order to keep track of its participants. You will need to click on the "Add List" button to add an opt-in list(s). If you haven't created an opt-in list yet, please click here to learn how.
- Choose program type: Choose if your loyalty program will be based on visits/check-ins or purchases. For example, if your loyalty program was based on visits/check-ins then participants would get a point for each visit they make to a store until a specific goal amount of visits is reached. If your loyalty program was based on purchases then the system would record the dollar amount of a purchase of a participant during a visit until a specific dollar amount goal amount is reached throughout visits.
- Loyalty goal amount: This is the goal you will set for your participants. If your loyalty program was based on visits, then you would add the number of visits needed to reach that goal. If your loyalty program was based on purchases, then you would add the total dollar amount of combined purchases a participant would need to reach that goal.
- Starting date for the program: Select the date your loyalty program will start.
- Make program ongoing: Select this option if you don't want your loyalty program to have an end date.
- End date for the program: Select the date your loyalty program will end.
- On the next screen, you will be presented with the "Checkpoints" step. In this step you will need to enter the following information:
- Add Checkpoint (optional): This option allows you to reward participants on their way to reach the loyalty goal when they reach a certain amount of visits or purchases. You can add up to four checkpoints. In each checkpoint you will need to add the number of visits or purchases needed to reach that checkpoint. You will need to add a message to go out or keep the default one when a participant reaches the loyalty program goal. You will also need to add a coupon to go out when a participant reaches that checkpoint. Finally, you will need to select the time frame that your message and coupon will go out when a participant reaches that checkpoint.
- Reach Goal (Free offer): This is where you will add a reward - a message and/or coupon - when a participant reaches the loyalty program goal. You don't need to change the number of visits or purchases needed to reach the loyalty program goal if you already selected one in the "Create New" step. You will need to add a message to go out or keep the default one when a participant reaches the loyalty program goal. You will also need to add a coupon to go out when a participant reaches the loyalty program goal. Finally, you will need to select the time frame that your message and coupon will go out when a participant reaches the loyalty program goal.
- Punch alert: This is the default message that will be sent every time a participant makes a visit/check-in or purchase letting them know their progress toward the loyalty program goal. You can change this message as needed. You can also select "Do not send punch alerts" so these messages are not sent.
- Time Frame: This is where you can select to have a set amount of visits or purchases per timeframe. For example, you can select to have one visit or purchase to be recorded per day per participant.
- On the next screen, you will be presented with the "Notifications" step. In this step you will need to enter the following information:
- First punch reminder (optional): This will send a reminder to a participant after selecting a specific amount of days since their last visit or purchase. You will have the option to add a message and a coupon. You can add other punch reminders as needed.
